The Willow Fork Drainage District (WFDD) honored Houston Stronger and other organizations and individuals for their selfless acts during and after Hurricane Harvey with a “Harvey’s Heroes” Award. “There are so many deserving individuals and organizations that gave so much to save lives and help their neighbors,” said Auggie Campbell, director of Houston Stronger. “It is critical to pursue funding for resilience projects which will improve our infrastructure and reduce the impact from floods. We are honored to receive this award.”
